BCI has a goal of minimising their carbon footprint and have responded to the challenge of climate change by building and operating diesel, electric and hybrid vehicles. They have taken further steps to reduce their carbon footprint by contracting Todae Solar to install a 30kW commercial solar system at their facility in Kewdale, WA. The system installed in May 2015 covers over half of the site’s electricity usage and will reduce its carbon emissions by 839 tonnes.
