Due to high daytime electricity use and rising energy costs, the manufacturing sector has been increasingly seeking solar solutions to reduce their energy bills.
Previous customers have overwhelmingly cited reducing electricity bills as the primary reason for seeking solar energy solutions, and have not been disappointed.
Tacca Industries explain, “the decision to install solar power has resulted in significant reductions to our electricity costs. We are very pleased we installed solar and very pleased with our relationship with Todae Solar.” They received a substantial 35% (approx.) reduction in their electricity bills since installing solar at their NSW site.
Being a larger system size they have benefitted from the government-issued large-scale generation certificates, with help from Todae Solar; “they assisted us during the entire process and have continued to provide ongoing help with registration of generation certificate to claim ongoing funding.” Read more about solar finance options here.
Elsum Engineering saw similarly impressive results; an approximate reduction in electricity bills of 46%. This 599kW rooftop solar system over two adjacent roofs in Victoria is an efficient use of unused roof space and allows them to self-generate during period of peak electricity pricing.
Finally, PGH Bricks & Pavers installed a 1MW ground mount solar system which is expected to reduce their electricity bills by nearly $6.5 million over a 20 year period – an approximate 22% bill coverage. Being one of Australia’s largest clay brick manufacturers their energy use is substantial, so this solar system has offered them significant energy bill savings.
Latest Todae Solar customers include AM Group, who have commissioned Todae Solar to install tilt-mounted rooftop solar systems totalling 460kW across six of their sites nationally. This system is expected to be installed in Q1 of 2019.
