Novotel has contracted with Todae Solar to install a 159kW commercial solar system for their Barossa Valley Resort. The resort is located in South Australia, 60 kilometres from Adelaide. The Barossa Valley Resort, which will soon feature 485 solar panels, is the fourth system that Todae Solar will have installed under Novotel’s parent brand, Accor Hotels Group.
Novotel selected Todae Solar for the installation at Barossa Valley resort after seeing the proven benefits and quality of installation by Todae Solar at Sydney Olympic Park, The Sebel at the Hawkesbury, and Sydney Grand Quay. The 100kW Sydney Grand Quay project placed as a finalist in the 2017 CEC Design & Installation Awards for the technical achievement and visual harmony it added to one of Sydney’s most iconic areas.
As the fourth system installed by Todae Solar for one client, this project is representative of a continuing trend for business owners with multiple sites to roll out solar projects across a portfolio. With around 20MW of multi-site installations across Australia, Todae Solar leads the industry when it comes to multi-site rollouts.
When considering a solar rollout across a portfolio, clients looking to make the transition to renewable energy as part of a larger sustainability target, like with Novotel, either choose to rollout solar one site at a time, or contract to do several sites at once.
